Most clients begin with weekly sessions. As therapy progresses, we may decide together to meet every other week or monthly, depending on your goals and needs.
-
My counseling approach is integrative, meaning I draw from a variety of evidence-based therapies to best meet your unique needs and goals. I believe healing involves the whole person—our thoughts, emotions, relationships, physical health, and spiritual life. Because my faith is an important part of who I am, I'm also happy to thoughtfully incorporate Christian beliefs and practices into therapy for clients who desire that.
-
Not at all. I welcome women from all backgrounds and beliefs. If your faith is important to you, I'm happy to thoughtfully incorporate it into therapy. If not, our work together will be guided by your goals and values.
-
Think of the first session as a chance for us to get to know one another. You'll have the opportunity to share what's bringing you to therapy, ask any questions you have, and get a feel for how I work. By the end of the session, I hope you'll have a clearer sense of whether you feel comfortable, understood, and confident moving forward.
If you decide I'm not the right therapist for you, that's completely okay. I truly don't take it personally. Finding the right fit is one of the most important parts of successful therapy, and I want you to work with someone who feels like the best match for your needs—even if that's not me.
-
Once you reach out, I'll personally respond within 1–2 business days. I'll ask for your insurance information so my billing team can verify your benefits before we schedule anything. Once your coverage has been confirmed, we'll meet for a free 15-minute video consultation. This is an opportunity for us to get to know each other, discuss what you're looking for in therapy, and answer any questions you may have.
After our conversation, I'll leave the decision entirely up to you. If you feel we're a good fit, you're welcome to reach back out to schedule your first appointment. My hope is that you'll choose the therapist who feels like the best fit for you, whether that's me or someone else.
-
That's completely okay. Many of the women I work with are attending therapy for the first time. My goal is to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where you can feel comfortable moving at a pace that feels right for you.
Still have questions?
If you didn't find the answer you were looking for, I'd be happy to help. Feel free to reach out with any questions—there's no pressure or obligation. I'm here to help you determine whether therapy with me is the right fit.
